Coal India Limited had already said that the actual production target for FY 2024-25 will be reduced from 83.8 million tonnes to 80.6-81 million tonnes. NTPC Mining said on Tuesday that it has produced 4.57 million tonnes of coal from its five private mines in financial year 2024-25. The total supply of coal to the power stations of NTPC was four crore 47.2 lakh tonnes, which is an increase of 26 percent year-on-year. The company did not provide comparative production data. NTPC Mining is a subsidiary company of NTPC Limited.
