Today i.e. 22nd June is the 14th day of protests and rebellion against the Pakistani government and army in Pakistan Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK). While on one hand, more than 70 thousand protesters from different cities of PoJK have been sitting at the Eidgah ground of Rawalakot for 11 days, on the other hand, today women and school children in different cities of PoJK demonstrated against the Pakistani government and army and raised slogans of freedom.

In Tarar Khel area of ​​Sudhanoti district, 10-12 year old school children stood in the square and raised slogans of freedom, while in Mandhol, women rebelled against the Pakistani government and army with slogans of freedom. In this series, many school children stood at the Eidgah ground of Rawalakot carrying banners on which it was written – ‘Pakistani army go out’, ‘Pakistani army is killing Kashmiris’, ‘Kashmir is a victim of Pakistan’s attack’, ‘We want rights’, ‘We want free education’, ‘Internet and food have been stopped’, ‘United Nations we need your attention’.

What did the organizers of the protest say?

Sardar Aman Khan, one of the main organizers of the protest, said that ‘the people of PoJK have many options, but the Pakistani government has no option. In such a situation, either give them their rights or if the Pakistani army continues its atrocities, the entire Pakistani army will be driven out of PoJK. Apart from this, Sardar Aman Khan warned that ‘Pakistani Army had massacred Bengalis by lying, kills Balochs, Pashtuns, but Kashmiris know how to respond and if Kashmiris cannot survive in PoJK then Pakistani Army will also not survive in PoJK.’

Gave warning to Pak government

The civilian organization Awami Action Committee, under whose banner the entire protest is taking place, has given a deadline of June 23 to the Pakistani government and if 38 demands are not met till then, more than 1 lakh protesters will march from Rawalakot to PoJK capital Muzaffarabad and Sardar Aman Khan warned that if the march comes, the government in Muzaffarabad will also be of Awami Action Committee. That means, something similar to what happened in Nepal and Bangladesh is likely to happen in PoJK.

Internet closed from 5th June

Internet is closed in PoJK since June 5 and trucks carrying food supplies have been stopped on the border of PoJK since June 14. So far 58 people have died in the firing by Pakistani Rangers and Army.
