Feelings of protest against the Shahbaz government are burning again in Pakistan occupied Kashmir. Talks between the Joint Awami Action Committee of PoK and the government have been cancelled. In such a situation, the peace that had come to the region after long protests and violence in October 2025 may go away again.

In September 2025, protests began in PoK, during which several organizations put forward several development-related demands. The Government of Pakistan intervened and agreed to fulfill all their demands. However, now the committee accused the government of showing off and said that not a single demand has been fulfilled. The committee refused to hold any kind of talks with the Pakistani government. In such a situation, there are chances of protests starting once again.

One assessment has estimated that the protests are likely to be bigger than last time. This is not the first time that the Pakistan government has gone back on its word. The people of the area are very disappointed by this.

The attitude of the government towards PoK is the same which is seen in Balochistan. For a long time, people of PoK and Balochistan areas have been accusing senior government and army officials of being involved in corruption. He says that all development work is done in big cities of Pakistan by using their resources. People living in these areas allege that the Pakistani government ignores the development here.

The Joint Awami Action Committee had signed an agreement with the government in October. During the signing of the agreement, it was decided that the committee and the government would meet every 15 days to review the development, but in the last three months, meetings in this regard have taken place only three times. Because of this the committee accused the government of showing off.

Apart from this, the Pakistan government had also promised to remove the names of many committee members from the Exit Control List (ECL) and assured that the FIRs against them would be withdrawn and the issues related to refugee seats would be resolved. However, not a single demand was fulfilled and now the committee members are angry with this.

The committee says that whatever the government has done since the agreement of 3 October 2025, it is all useless. The government had formed a committee to resolve the issues of refugee seats. Although the committee will look only at specific issues, the PoK committee wants that all the issues should be resolved together.

The committee further said that just taking a few steps will not suffice and this time it is not trusting the government. At the same time, Indian officials say that this situation is not surprising and Pakistan has always had the same stand in the matter of PoK. Officials have also warned that if the issues are not resolved immediately, the protests may intensify and its spread to India also cannot be ruled out.

Another officer said that the Pakistani Army decides everything. He has given the responsibility to many retired army officers to deal with the middlemen in the area. They have been entrusted with the task of utilizing the resources present in PoK.

People have accused these officials that they are sending all the funds to the main parts of Pakistan, while not making any improvements in the area. Apart from this, a lot of the funds received from these resources are appropriated by the army officers. These officers have been accused of corruption on a large scale. These issues have created a stir within the army as well.

Recently, in a letter from the Guardians of Honor, Asim Munir was accused of incompetence, oppression and corruption. An official said that the Pakistan government has been lying to the people of Pakistan by giving false assurances for a long time. It is just a matter of time when the situation in PoK will go out of the control of the people sitting in Pakistan.

He said that people have the right to perform, but the government cannot be allowed to destabilize. The people of PoK have been suffering the atrocities of the Pakistani Army for a long time. The general public alleges that the government does not do development work here and inflation is at its peak.

The Pakistani Army spokesperson says that the government’s system works in POK. He said, “If tax is not taken here, then how will the government give salary to the employees. If the protesters have any problem then talk to the government through the system.” To hide his failure, he once again took the name of India and said, “Those who are dreaming of Kashmir were also related to Kashmir. Many of our army soldiers are from Kashmir.”

Ahmed Sharif Chaudhary said, “There is no inflation in POK. Many works have been done in the interest of common people. The condition of PoK is better than Jammu and Kashmir in India. The literacy rate here is better than that.”

In Pakistan -occupied Kashmir i.e. POK, people are taking to the streets and protesting against the Shahbaz government. Now in addition to Dhirkot, there was a clash in Dadayal area of ​​Mirpur district of POK, in which 5 people were seriously injured.

Not only this, people are also shouting slogans against the Shahbaz government of Pakistan. On Wednesday, a tremendous civil war was seen in Pok, in which a total of 4 people died in Dhirkot and Dadyal, besides Muzaffarabad, due to the shooting of Pakistani police.

Pakistan Army is killing its own public

These are the same security forces of Pakistan, who were saluting them in the funeral of terrorists killed in the terrorist bases built in POK during Operation Sindoor, but today they are shooting for the people of their own country from AK-47 to demand rights.

After police action in Muzaffarabad and other areas, Awami Action Committee leader Sardar Umar Nazir issued a statement saying that on one hand the Pakistani government is talking about talks and is terrorizing on the other side. In such a situation, the talks will be taken by the Pakistani government keeping their terrorism in view.

Emergency preparation after PoK massacre

After the massacre in POK, it is feared that the government of Pakistan and POK may set up the emergency to crush protests in the next 12 to 24 hours. At the same time, the puppet government of Chaudhary Anwar ul Haq of PoK is consulting its masters sitting in Islamabad to impose emergency. For the last 36 hours, mobile internet and calling facility in the entire POK are completely closed.

Local people argue about this that this representative weakens governance. Apart from this, the people there have also taken to the streets against inflation, unemployment and excesses of the Pakistani army.

People of Pok warns Pak PM

AAC leader Shaukat Nawaz Mir said, “Our campaign is for the fundamental rights that have not been given to our people for 70 years … Either get rights or face the anger of the people.” Warning Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, he said that the patience of the people has responded and the officials have now become alert. He said that AAC also has backup and strict plan.

The army has strictly responded to this protest. The Pakistani army is conducting a flag march in PoK towns with heavy weapons. 1,000 additional soldiers have been sent from Islamabad.
