The Election Commission has started the final preparations for the announcement of Bihar assembly elections. On Tuesday, the Commission held an important meeting with Bihar officials. The Election Commission held a meeting of all the commissioners, IG, DIG, DM, SSP -SP of the state through video conferencing.

It is expected that the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) will visit Bihar on 4 and 5 October along with Dnyanesh Kumar, Election Commissioners Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Vivek Joshi. Elections can be held in three to four stages in Bihar
