Ishita Malik, a college student preparing for the NEET exam in Krishnanagar, West Bengal, was shot dead in her own house. Police has described 23 -year -old Debraj Singh as a suspicious accused. It is being told that he has been a friend of Ishita.

Police suspected murder for personal reasons
According to preliminary investigation, the reason for the murder may be a personal dispute. Police sources say that the relationship started in 2023 broke in recent months, after which Ishita stopped talks with the accused.

Education and future plans
Ishita enrolled in Victoria College in 2023, but postponed it to prepare for NEET. She was soon to take admission in the medical college. Police believe that the accused shot Ishita closely. The post -mortem report will reveal the number of bullet wounds and other forensic information.

The girl was alone at home
According to police sources, the incident took place around 2:30 pm when Ishita was alone at home. There was no one at the girl’s house during the incident. Taking advantage of this, the accused entered the house and shot him and escaped. Ishita was seriously injured due to the bullet and was injured and died on the spot. On receiving the information of the incident, the police team of Krishnanagar Kotwali police station reached the spot and started investigation. The police have taken the body in possession and sent it for postmortem.

Political response
TMC General Secretary Kunal Ghosh said, “This is a sad incident and has no relation with politics. Still the truth should be revealed and the police should take strict action against such social crimes.” Fury has spread in the area after the incident.

Post mortem report revealed the cause of death
According to the post -mortem report, Raisa died of accidentally drowning and no physical bruises were found on his body. His last rites were performed on the evening of 30 June. After Raisa’s death, his school declared a three -day mourning and the entire community united and organized a candle march and prayer meeting.
