Prabhas is all set to make a comeback on the big screen as Baahubali with the release of ‘Baahubali – The Epic’ on 31st October. This film gave Prabhas pan-India star status and since then he has done films like Kalki 2898 AD, Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, Radhe Shyam, Saaho and Adipurush. Whereas Bahubali – The Epic is a re-imaged version of two Bahubali films which have been put together in one 3.50 hour long film. His next original film Raja Saab is going to be released on 6 January 2026. It is noteworthy that Prabhas has done big budget films one after the other after Bahubali, but there was a time when he did not want to be a part of big films. It has been mentioned in a report of Republic that Prabhas had become reluctant to do big budget films. According to the report, big budget films have a lot of pressure. He told that he is tired of long shoots, once he shot for 24 hours for Baahubali, once the entire cast and crew stayed at Ramoji Rao Studio for two months and due to the long schedule, he had very little time left for himself and his family.

Prabhas is now busy preparing for Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s film “Spirit”. Deepika Padukone was first cast opposite him in this film. But then due to the alleged demands of the actress, the director dropped her from the film. Now Deepika has been replaced by Trupti Dimri. Prabhas is currently working on the songs of “The Raja Saheb” in Greece, pictures of which have already gone viral.

Apart from this, he is also working on “Fauji” with Hanu Raghavapudi, 60% of which is complete and it is scheduled to release on August 14 next year. He is also committed to the sequels of Prashant Neel’s “Salaar” and Nag Ashwin’s “Kalki”.
