Prashant Kishor, founder and election strategist of Jan Suraaj Party, who has given a new direction in the politics of Bihar, said that in the last three years he has earned a legitimate income of Rs 241 crore from consultancy services.

On this income he has deposited Rs 30.95 crore as GST and Rs 20 crore as Income Tax. According to media reports, the estimated net worth of Prashant Kishore in the year 2025 is said to be between ₹45 to ₹60 crore.

Prashant Kishore had told in a press conference that he provided his advisory services in many areas, which include sectors like infrastructure, education, health and public policy.

Giving an example, Prashant Kishore said that he had given advice to a company named Navyuga Constructions for just two hours, in return for which he got a payment of ₹ 11 crore.

Prashant Kishore said that after 2021, he has decided to invest a major part of his earnings in the Jan Suraj movement and the social campaigns of the party so that the movement does not depend on external funding.

Prashant Kishore recently told that in the last three years he has earned legitimate income of Rs 241 crore from consultancy services. Prashant Kishore has told that before joining politics, he used to give free advice to parties and corporate organizations, but after 2021, he decided that he will charge for his consulting services so that the expenses of the party and social campaigns can be met. He said, “Now every income of mine comes after paying taxes. I want that both politics and money of Bihar should be run honestly.”
