Congress has targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party regarding this. Congress spokesperson Surendra Rajput called it the effect of Sangat.

Congress leader Surendra Rajput took a jibe at BJP over the divorce of Aparna Yadav and Prateek and said, “Big families were destroyed in the company of Bharatiya Janata Party. First BJP got the idol done in the family of Mulayam Singh Yadav. Now they want to get the idol done in the family of Aparna Yadav and Prateek Yadav.”

If there is a fire somewhere in someone else’s family, they do the work of pouring petrol instead of pouring water. This is the effect of Sangat, that somewhere the happy family has reached the verge of divorce. All these people should see that the fate of bad company is bad.”
