If diastolic blood pressure increases by 20 mmHg or more, it can be a danger sign. According to doctors, this shows whether the blood vessels are functioning properly or not.

What is the danger of high BP during pregnancy?

The risk of high BP during pregnancy is considered high because it affects not only the mother but also the child. This can lead to low birth weight, premature delivery, seizures and many serious complications. According to the research of National Institutes of Health, timely testing and monitoring is considered to be the most effective method.
