Actor Prem Chopra was admitted to the hospital after severe congestion. After treatment, he was discharged and is now resting at home. His son-in-law and actor Sharman Joshi has shared an update on his health. Sharman posted on Instagram that Prem Chopra was suffering from severe aortic stenosis. Doctors performed a TAVI procedure on him, in which the aortic valve is repaired without open-heart surgery. This procedure was successful and now Prem Chopra is slowly recovering. Prem Chopra said that he worked with Raj Kapoor a lot. I used to meet Rajiv Kapoor anywhere, I used to ask him about the script. They used to say, they will tell. After that we went straight to Pune where the shooting was being done. On that, he explained to me the scene that a boy and girl have run away from the house and you have to hold his hand and speak- Prem name is mine, Prem Chopra. After this film, this dialogue became very famous. Even after coming out of the theater, people were speaking this dialogue.
