This claim has come at a time when his satirical digital campaign has become increasingly viral on social media and was getting the support of millions of people. Abhijeet Dipke alleged that action is being taken against his online platforms on a large scale and many social media accounts related to him have been affected.

Abhijeet Dipke wrote on social media, ‘Action is being taken against the cockroach Janata Party. Instagram page has been hacked. My personal Instagram account has also been hacked. The Twitter account has been frozen and the backup account has also been deleted. At present we do not have access to any of our platforms. Any post made after this should not be considered as an official statement of Cockroach Janata Party.

The campaign reached millions of people in a few days

Abhijeet Dipke is a student of Boston University and has also been a former associate of Aam Aadmi Party. He started this satirical digital campaign about a week ago. After this this platform became increasingly popular on social media. According to the report, the party had about 1.9 crore followers on its Instagram account.

How did the ‘Cockroach Janata Party’ trend start?

The ‘Cockroach Janata Party’ trend started after the controversy regarding the alleged remarks of Chief Justice of India Surya Kant. It was reported that during the hearing of a petition related to granting the status of senior lawyer, the Chief Justice had allegedly used words like ‘parasite’ and ‘cockroach’.

According to Abhijeet Dipke, this entire idea was inspired by this controversy. However, the Chief Justice later clarified that his statement was misrepresented and his comment was only for people coming into the legal profession with fake and false degrees.

Party went viral with memes and satire

Despite this, ‘Cockroach Janata Party’ quickly went viral on social media. By making the cockroach the election symbol, the campaign was carried forward through memes, satire, graphics and political comments.

On this platform, issues related to youth like unemployment, examination paper leak and education system were presented in the style of satirical manifestos and election campaigns. Abhijit Dipke had described this movement as ‘the voice of the lazy and unemployed people’.

Earlier, Abhijeet Dipke had claimed that after the campaign went viral on social media, he had also received death threats on WhatsApp. While sharing the screenshot of the alleged threatening message, he wrote, ‘Now I am receiving death threats.’ According to Dipke, the person who sent the message had pressurized him to close the account of ‘Cockroach Janata Party’ or join BJP.
