Balen Shah will take oath as the next Prime Minister of Nepal on Friday (27 March 2026). His swearing-in ceremony is going to be very special for many reasons. According to Hindu tradition, during the oath taking ceremony in Nepal, once a Hindu nation, to make this occasion very special, conch shells will be blown with 7 very special conch shells, along with which 108 Batuk priests will also be present.

Who is Balen Shah?

Balen Shah is a young and famous leader of Nepal. He is also an engineer and was earlier known as a rapper. KP Oli resigns from PM after violent protests in the country

On September 8 and 9, violent protests were organized by ‘Jane-Z’ against corruption against KP Sharma Oli-led Nepal government and ban on social media. During this time, after the death of many people in police action, hundreds of protesters entered his office demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Oli. After this, the next day he resigned from his post and after that the ban on social media in Nepal was lifted on the night of 8 September.
