One of the hit songs of Bollywood, ‘Channa Mereya’, which we usually associate with the film ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, but do you know that it was actually made for Salman Khan’s film ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’. This was recently revealed by composer Pritam Chakraborty himself.

The song ‘Channa Mereya’ was made for another film?

In an interview to IANS, he told how his popular song ‘Channa Mereya’ joined Karan Johar’s film ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’.

He told IANS, “I had prepared the song ‘Channa Mereya’ for an emotional scene from the film ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’. But that song was not included in ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’. Later the same song was taken in ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’. But the song was the same, but the lyrics were different.”

Pritam said this about ‘Metro … these days’

Singer Pritam has also shared his experience of working with film producers Imtiaz Ali and Anurag Basu. Pritam told that a lot of things are the same in the direction of both, but in terms of music, the choice of both is quite different from each other.

Let me tell you that he had prepared music for the recently released film ‘Metro … these days’, which was liked by the audience a lot.

Recently, Pritam told that of course the film ‘Metro … these days’ has been released, but he is still working on its music so that he can change before it is released on OTT.

Pritam is very passionate about her songs made. This can also be gauged from the fact that even after the filmmaker is satisfied, he keeps trying to improve the songs.

Soundtrack work for the film ‘War 2’

He further explained that he continues to work on those songs until he is creatively satisfied with his songs. The same situation was with ‘Metro … these days’. Even after so many days after the release of the film, he is trying to improve the song. He hopes that he will make some changes in the soundtrack of the film before releasing on OTT.

Talking about the workfront, he is busy preparing the soundtrack for Hrithik Roshan and Junior NTR’s film ‘War 2’.

‘War 2’ will be released in theaters on August 14.
