Actress Priya Ahuja Rajda, who played the role of Rita reporter in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, has now become a fitness expert. He has kept himself away from the world of TV for the time being. Recently, Priya has posted a video on her Instagram account where she is seen doing plank by lifting more than 75 kg of weight on her back. She is calling it a record plank done by a woman in Asia.

How was the record made?
Rita Reporter has written in her post – This medal is not just for carrying 75 kg on the back and doing plank. We the morning, we the pain, with every tear I have always told myself – just don’t give up today. This record of a female doing plank of 42.48 seconds by carrying 75 kg on her back in India and Asia is not my milestone but it is my personal transformation.

Rita Reporter has also posted her photo while receiving the certificate along with the medal.

Priya became famous with Rita Reporter
Priya became quite famous in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. In this TV comedy show, Rita Reporter played the role of Rita Reporter, a resident of Gokuldham, who used to work in the channel till yesterday. She always showed the problems and strange atmosphere of the people of Gokuldham. Priya got good recognition from this character.

Married to the show’s director
Priya married Malav Rajda, who played the role of director on the show for a long time. Both of them got married in 2011 and have a child. Rita was a reporter in the Priya show and Malav had worked as a director for many years. Priya had claimed that she had never mixed her personal and professional life. Malav left the show in 2022. After this Priya had said that even after her husband left the show, she too was thrown out of the show.
