Complainant Srideva Namboothiri from Kannur district said that the film has shown women from three different states and the incidents that happened to them, but an attempt has been made to defame Kerala by presenting a wrong image of Kerala in the title of the film and in some scenes.

A few days ago, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan also reacted to the film. On his X account, he described it as against the secular values ​​of the state and said that it is a poisonous, false and propaganda film.
