Meaning of Milad-un-Nabi
Milad-un-Nabi means the birth of the Prophet and it is also called Maulid in many places, which means giving birth. This day is an opportunity to remember the teachings of the Prophet and his life. Prophet Mohammed was born in Mecca in about 570 AD. He is considered the founder and final prophet of Islam. At the age of six, he was orphans and raised by grandfather and uncle.
