The process of formation of the interim government under the leadership of former Chief Justice Sushila Karki in Nepal is caught in the deadlock. The leaders of Nepal are divided on whether Parliament should be dissolved before taking over Karki.

The formation of an interim administration under the leadership of Sushila Karki has been politically a widespread agreement, but the process got stuck in the middle during the tripartite talks between Nepal President Ramchandra Paudel, Army Chief Ashok Raj Sigdel and representatives of the Gen-G movement. Both Karki and Jane-G leader Sudan Gurung are adamant on the fact that the House of Representatives should be dissolved before taking oath.

What is the constitutional process to dissolve Parliament in Nepal?

According to the Constitution of Nepal, Parliament can be dissolved only after the Prime Minister’s recommendation and the approval of the President. This process in 2020 and 2021, the then Prime Minister K.K. P. Sharma was adopted twice under Oli’s rule, but in both the cases, the Supreme Court intervened and re -established the Parliament.

President Paudel is alerted by the recurrence of constitutional disputes and advocating a path that maintains institutional validity.

I will not take over PM without dissolving Parliament- Karki

A close friend of Nepal’s President Paudel said, “This entire process should be under the constitutional structure.” However, former Chief Justice Sushila Karki made it clear that she would not take over as an interim Prime Minister without dissolving Parliament.

Debate on the formation of interim government

Due to this difference, the formation of the interim government is currently hanging in the balance. The discussions are arguing whether President Paudel should dissolve Parliament just before Karki’s swearing in, or Karki should take the oath of Prime Minister first and after that the Parliament should be dissolved with his recommendation.

Nepal, India’s closest neighboring country, is currently in a very worrying situation. The Gen-Z movement started in the country after banning social media has now taken a wide form. The youth of the country are playing the lead role in this demonstration, which has now become completely violent. After the protests of the youth, Nepal’s situation has now become such that the Prime Minister of the country himself. P. Sharma Oli has submitted his resignation himself. The first five ministers of the country had resigned from their posts. On the other hand, on the other hand, the eyes of the whole world are especially focused on Nepal. The news of anarchy in Nepal is in media outlets around the world and Nepal’s media is also continuously issuing updates about this protest.

Prime Minister resigns after increasing violence in the country

After the violence in Nepal on Monday (September 8, 2025), Prime Minister K.K. P. Sharma Oli was very criticized. After this, Prime Minister K.K. P. Sharma Oli submitted his resignation on Tuesday (September 9, 2025). There itself. After the ongoing turmoil and protests in the country, Nepal’s media is also continuously giving updates on it.

KP Oli left post after death and injured

The Kathmandu Post, a major Nepal newspaper, said for the ongoing situation in the country and the resignation of the PM that PM Oli has resigned from his post after 19 protesters were killed and hundreds of people were injured during the nationwide agitation against corruption and anarchy in Nepal. The newspaper wrote, ‘Ever since KP Sharma Oli is in politics, there has never been a doubt about his anti -democracy stance.’

What did KP Oli say while submitting resignation?

According to another Nepali newspaper The Himalayan Times, KP Oli has published the statement of the resignation submitted to Nepal’s President Ramchandra Paudel. The newspaper wrote, ‘In his letter to President Ramchandra Paudel, Oli has accepted the extraordinary circumstances of the country and also advocated the constitutional political solution.’

Extensive controversy in the country over nepotism and corruption

Another newspaper named Nepali Times on Monday (September 8, 2025) said that the agitation was part of a protest that was led by Nepali, which was being led by Nepali. There was widespread discussion in Nepal about nepotism, corruption and rich-poverty gap. The youth of this country have recently seen a fierce student movement in Bangladesh regarding corruption and unemployment. He has also seen how the students’ movement in Bangladesh gained momentum and Sheikh Hasina had to leave the power of Bangladesh.

Nepal is on boil at this time. From the capital Kathmandu to different parts of the country, the flame of protest has erupted. Especially the voice of the new generation i.e. Jane Z is echoing on the streets this time. Meanwhile, a video went viral which created a stir in the whole country. In fact, the office of Nepal’s mainstream media institute Kantipur became a victim of a fierce accident. The protesters have set this institute on fire, which has been seen as a terrible glimpse.

The protesters set the media house on fire!

The smoke coming out of the multi-storey building surrounded by flames is visible far and wide. The view is so dreadful that people standing nearby were unable to believe their eyes. In a few minutes, the office windows broke and fell. The upper floors were completely hit by fire. This video, which is becoming increasingly viral on social media, is clearly visible how high flames of fire are swallowing the entire building. The reach of Kantipur office, which is counted among the largest media institutions in Nepal, is a sensational in this condition. In the era of Jane Z demonstration, this fire is being seen as a message, not just an accident.

What is the whole controversy, understand

Let us tell you that the government had recently banned 26 social media and messaging apps. It was argued that these companies did not follow rules like opening, registration and preparing Grievens Mechanism in Nepal. Interestingly, tickets and some small apps completed this process, but veteran platforms like Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram and YouTube could not do this. As a result, Nepal Telecommunication Authority blocked them. However, now the ban has been withdrawn.

Also read: Girl set fire in water! Wearing a pink sari, Hasina put a milky dancing from the waist- you will lose your senses watching the video

Users react like this

The video has been shared on social media from different platforms, which has been seen by millions of people till now, while many people have also liked the video. In such a situation, social media users are giving various reactions about videos. One user wrote… People should perform such demonstrations on corruption unemployment. Another user wrote … Ego has to be apocalypse, whatever happens. So there was another user wrote… Now removed the ban, now let’s calm down.

What is monarchy: The neighboring country is in full swing to bring back the monarchy in Nepal and declare a Hindu nation. Nepal has been the only Hindu nation in the world for a long time, but this system was abolished in the year 2008. In such a situation, will the monarchy back again in Nepal and will be declared a Hindu nation. Actually, when democracy came in Nepal, it was declared secular.

Now once again, they are raising the capable voices of the monarchy and saying that after eliminating the system of democracy, then the power should be handed over to the royal family in the hands of the king. But after all, what is this monarchy, for which there is an outcry in the neighboring country.

When the complete constitution was made in Nepal

Amidst the political uncertainty in Nepal, it took a full seven years to become a full constitution and to implement it. Finally, on 20 September 2015, the Constitution of Nepal came into force, which is the seventh constitution there. In such a situation, the monarchy system completely ended and became a democratic country. Earlier, the law was implemented in Nepal, which means that what the king has said is the law. Now know what is the monarchy rule.

What is the monarchy

The monarchy as is clear from the name that the place where the king’s rule goes on. Monarchy means a government where there is an emperor or king, who is the head of the country. The rule in the monarchy is hereditary. That is, after the death of the king, his son becomes the king. The monarchy is also called monarchical rule. In the monarchy, there is no curb of any constitution or law on the ruler. In the monarchy, the ruler rules according to his arbitrariness and runs his rules and laws, whether he is for the good of the people or the people are suffering losses.

There are two types of monarchy system

The monarchy is of two types- one is autocratic monarchy and the other is constitutional monarchy. There is no control over the king in an autocratic monarchy. At the same time, the authority of the emperor is restricted in the constitutional monarchy. In this, the ruler has a direct and special relationship between the family and his followers. There is a possibility in monarchical rule that most citizens do not get equal rights. Even today, the monarchy system is maintained in many countries in the world such as Saudi Arabia, Oman, Brunei, Iswatin, Vatican City, United Arab Emirates as well as 44 countries.

Former king of nepal gyanendra shah: The government has given a big blow to the last king of Nepal Gyanendra. The government has cut their security. Demonstration is going on in Nepal to bring back the monarchy at this time. It is believed that this demonstration has been started by Gyanendra and his family members.

At the same time, the Civil Body of Kathmandu has imposed a fine on former King Gyanendra Shah for the damage to public property and environment during pro -monarchy protests in the capital of Nepal. The protest was organized on the call of Gyanendra Shah, so that Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) sent a letter to his residence in Maharajganj, the outskirts of Kathmandu. In this letter, KMC has asked him to pay compensation of 7,93,000 Nepali rupees.

Passport may be canceled

The government has also started the process of canceling their passport. This fined was imposed for improper disposal of waste on roads and pavements, as well as damage to physical structures. KMC on Saturday issued a fine notice citing violations of the waste management Act, 2020 and Kathmandu Metropolitan City Finance Act, 2021.

Stressful situation in many parts of Kathmandu

According to the report, a tense situation was observed in several parts of Kathmandu on Friday, when pro -monarchy protesters pelted stones, attacked the office of a political party, set fire to vehicles and looted shops in Tinkunabneshwar area of Kathmandu. In this violent clash, two people, including a TV cameraman, died and 110 others were injured.

In a letter sent to Gyanendra Shah (whose copies were also given to the media), KMC said, “The protests organized on the call of the former emperor damaged various properties of the metropolis and influenced the environment of the capital city. Durga Prasad, the organizer of this movement, met Gyanendra Shah a day earlier and he received instructions to agitate for demanding the monarchy and Hindu state.”

This incident happened when the monarchy supporters became active since democracy day in February, when Gyanendra Shah said, the time has come that we take responsibility for protecting the country and bringing national unity. After this, the supporters of the monarchy were organizing rallies in Kathmandu and other parts of the country, demanding the reinstatement of the 240 -year -old monarchy ended in 2008.

Gyanendra Shah had to face criticism

Earlier on Monday, March 24, a group of leaders of civil society in Nepal had criticized for being politically active for the purpose of restoring Gyanendra Shah’s monarchy. Eight civil society leaders said in a joint statement, Gyanendra Shah’s into political activism thwarts their ancestors’ efforts to build nation and pose a threat to their neighbors and the world to weaken the country.
