Miss Grand International Organizer wrote in its statement, “Miss Grand International Organizer announces Miss Grand International 2024 title to terminate the title of 2024 with immediate effect.” The statement said. The organization also requested that it return the Crown to the MGI head office within 30 days.

According to the organization, Gupta failed to fulfill her responsibilities. She was involved in unauthorized external projects and also refused to attend the official trip to Guatemala.
