Jan Suraj founder Prashant Kishore claimed on Thursday that he will push RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav to third position in this assembly election from Raghopur. Regarding the ongoing tussle over seats in the Grand Alliance, he said that the Grand Alliance should first clarify whether VIP’s Mukesh Sahni is with them or not. Without making any official announcement of contesting on even a single seat, he has claimed to become the Deputy CM. The basic thing is that this time the Grand Alliance has openly sold tickets worth crores of rupees. At many places, two parties of the Grand Alliance have given candidates.

Describing his decision of not contesting from Raghopur as the party’s decision, Prashant Kishore said that the party says that this will help the remaining candidates of Jan Suraj. He also said that Tejashwi Yadav and his entire family together cannot scare us. You will see, he will be pushed to third place in Raghopur.

Let us tell you that former Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav has once again contested the elections from Raghopur. Earlier, former MP and four-time MLA from Jokihat, Araria, Sarfaraz Alam joined Jan Suraj Party. Along with party leader Prashant Kishore, national president Uday Singh and state president Manoj Bharti welcomed him into the party.

Sarfaraz Alam is the son of former Union Minister and prominent Muslim face of Seemanchal politics, late Taslimuddin. In the year 1996, for the first time, he became MLA and minister in Bihar government by winning the by-election from Jokihat on RJD ticket. After this, he was MLA in the years 2000, 2010 and 2015 also. After the death of his MP father Taslimuddin, he also became an MP by winning the parliamentary by-election held in 2018. His brother Shahnawaz Alam is currently RJD MLA from Jokihat Assembly.
