Pahalgam Terror Attack Update: An all-party meeting was held on Thursday (April 24, 2025) on the terror attack on 22 April 2025 in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi said that the government should take any action, the opposition is with him.

Rahul Gandhi, who came out of the meeting, said, “Whatever has happened, all people have condemned and the opposition has fully supported the government. To take any action.” After attending an all-party meeting convened by the central government, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said, “Defense Minister Rajnath Singh chaired the meeting, Union Home Minister Amit Shah was also present in the meeting. All parties condemned the Pahalgam terror attack. We said that efforts should be made to maintain peace in Jammu and Kashmir.”

TMC MP Sudeep Bandopadhyay said that the leaders also discussed security flaws. He said, “The security lapse was discussed. We assured the government that whatever decision the government will take in the interest of the country, all political parties will stand with it.”

What did the Aam Aadmi Party say?

AAP MP Sanjay Singh said, “The whole country is angry, unhappy and the country wants the central government to give a befitting reply to the terrorists in their language. The way they have killed innocent people, their camps should be abolished and action should be taken against Pakistan. We have demanded that the accountability should be fixed and action should be taken as to why the security has been missed?”
