Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday (November 04, 2025) hit back at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and accused him of creating ‘drama’ regarding Chhath Puja. Attacking the NDA government, Gandhi also accused Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar of turning the youth of Bihar into laborers and eliminating all employment opportunities for them.

Addressing an election rally in Darbhanga, Gandhi said, ‘BJP created this whole drama regarding Chhath Puja, told the whole country that he would take a holy dip in the Yamuna, but behind the scenes, a pipe was installed to bring clean water, arrangements for clean water were made especially for Narendra Modi’s bath. If the PM has to take a bath, he will bring clean water, he will not smell the Yamuna, but when the issue of clean water pipes came in the media, Narendra Modi refused to take a bath in the Yamuna.

Narendra Modi was about to take bath in Yamuna during Chhath Puja. For their bathing, clean water pipes were installed and a special pond was built.

The plan was that Modi would take bath in Yamuna and then do drama for Bihar.

PM Modi had accused Chhathi Maiya of insulting her.

While addressing a rally in Nawada, Bihar, Prime Minister Modi had accused the ‘India’ alliance of insulting Chhathi Maiya. Addressing the rally, the PM said, RJD and Congress people call the worship of Chhathi Maiya a ‘gimmick’. These people do not know anything about the power of Sun God.

The Congress leader said, ‘Narendra Modi-Amit Shah know that they cannot win elections in Bihar, that is why they will ‘steal votes’. BJP stole the elections of Maharashtra, Haryana and Lok Sabha and now they want to steal the elections in Bihar. But the people of Bihar are smart and they will not let this happen. Bihar knows that ‘vote theft’ is an attack on the Constitution. The public understands that if ‘vote theft’ occurs then all rights will be lost.

Rahul Gandhi accused of misleading the youth

Rahul Gandhi accused Prime Minister Modi of misleading the youth through social media. He told the people of Bihar, ‘PM Modi wants you to get addicted to using Reel, Instagram, Facebook, this is the new addiction of the 21st century. This will keep the youth astray and will not question the government on problems related to education, health and employment.

Rahul Gandhi further said, ‘Narendra Modi has closed all avenues for the youth of Bihar. For those youth who wanted to join the army, Modi government brought Agniveer. Agniveer will neither get the status of martyr nor will get pension. At the same time, the youth who wanted to join public sector companies were privatized.

Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi claimed on Tuesday (November 04, 2025) that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has been captured by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and now Nitish Kumar’s government is never going to be formed in the state.

Addressing election meetings in Aurangabad and Kutumba, he also said that just as television channels are changed through remote, in the same way Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah change ‘Nitish Kumar’s channel’ and the Chief Minister of Bihar does whatever these two top BJP leaders want.

Nitish Kumar is following the instructions of PM Modi and Shah

The Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha claimed that Prime Minister Modi and the Home Minister will try their best to ‘steal votes’ because they know that without this they cannot win. Rahul Gandhi called upon people to be prepared to stop ‘vote theft’. The Congress leader once again claimed that Nitish Kumar is working on the instructions of Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Shah.

He said, ‘People of Bihar feel that it is Nitish ji’s government, but Nitish ji has nothing to do with it. Just as the TV channel is changed with the remote, similarly Modi ji and Amit Shah change the channel of Nitish ji. Nitish ji does whatever he wants.

Rahul Gandhi spoke on the problem of migration in Bihar

Rahul Gandhi claimed, ‘BJP has completely controlled Nitish ji, has kept him under control. Nitish ji’s government is never going to be formed in Bihar. The work is finished. Referring to the condition of Bihar’s education system, the Congress leader said that there was a time when students from China, Japan and other countries used to come to Bihar for studies, but today the youth of Bihar are being forced to migrate instead of employment.

He has announced that if the Indian coalition government is formed, a world class university will be established in Nalanda. Targeting Prime Minister Modi, Rahul Gandhi said, ‘Modi ji says that youth are earning money by making reels. Who is earning?

Congress raised questions on the health infrastructure of Bihar

The Congress leader also said that the Prime Minister wants to keep the youth busy, so that they cannot ask questions. He said that Modi ji is intoxicating the youth with a new ‘intoxication’ in the same way as alcohol or drugs do. Raising questions on the health infrastructure of Bihar, the Congress leader said that people from Bihar who go to Delhi AIIMS for treatment say that if they get admitted in the hospitals of Bihar, they will lose their lives.

Regarding the ‘Agneepath’ scheme related to army recruitment, Rahul Gandhi claimed, ‘Under this scheme, neither the youth will get pension nor any compensation or ex-gratia amount in case of martyrdom.’ He said that question papers are leaked in Bihar and rich students get the benefit while poor students are left behind despite hard work.

Accusing Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah of ‘vote theft’, Rahul Gandhi said that they know that they cannot win the elections in Bihar, hence they are making every possible effort to steal votes, but the people of Bihar will not allow this to happen.

‘PM’s schemes for the benefit of corporate houses’

He said that the people will have to remain united to protect the Constitution. Rahul alleged that the insurance schemes of Modi government are not for the common people but for the benefit of corporate houses. He alleged that Modi and Shah are working to spread hatred in the country, whereas the objective of Bharat Jodo is to unite people, not to divide.

Before the Bihar Assembly elections 2025, former Congress President and opposition leader Rahul Gandhi, while addressing a public meeting in Nalanda on Thursday (October 30, 2025), said about the US President’s statement during Operation Sindoor, ‘He is the President of America, he has insulted the PM fifty times.’

Nalanda was the center of education of the world, but today if you ask about the schools or colleges of Bihar, people will tell you that only paper leaks happen in Bihar.

Indira Gandhi was a woman, but she had more strength than this man (Narendra Modi). Narendra Modi is coward.

Rahul Gandhi spoke about the development of Bihar

The opposition leader further said, ‘Wherever I go, I see people from Bihar. You have built a place like Dubai with your blood and sweat. My question to you is that if you can build cities like Dubai and Bengaluru, the miracles you do outside Bihar, why are you not able to do it in Bihar. What is lacking in Bihar is that the energy of the people of Bihar is not being used in making Bihar.

Regarding the paper leak in Bihar, Rahul Gandhi said, ‘The youth of Bihar dreams of becoming an engineer, doctor, lawyer, asks for help from parents, after working as a laborer, people of Bihar try to educate their children, lakhs of rupees are spent in private colleges and private schools. ‘Nitish Kumar’s remote control is in PM Modi’s hands’

Taking aim at the Bihar government, he said, ‘Nitish ji says that in twenty years he changed Bihar, brought development in Bihar, started hospitals, started universities, I want to ask you whether this is true? People told me that if someone goes to a hospital in Bihar for treatment, he does not come back, he dies there. People go to hospitals in Bihar to die, not to live, and this is the truth of your government.

The Congress leader said, ‘The remote control of Nitish Kumar is in the hands of PM Modi. Whatever button Narendra Modi presses, Nitish Kumar will start the same channel. The government is not run by Nitish, but by Modi, Shah and Nagpur. At the time of Chhath Puja, Modi ji decided that he would take bath in Yamuna, you saw, saw the photo. ‘Government engaged in destroying the Constitution by stealing votes’

Rahul Gandhi again raised the issue of abolishing the Constitution and said in the meeting, ‘People of the government are busy in abolishing the Constitution by stealing votes. He had said that he would abolish the Constitution. Somehow won the elections after stealing votes. If there was no vote theft, the India Coalition government would have been ruling.

Amit Shah and PM Modi benefit from hatred

Rahul Gandhi said, ‘Bihar needs a government of Bihar, Bihar needs a government of every caste and every religion. I said during the journey that we have to open a shop of love in the market of hatred. Hatred of farmers and laborers and the youth has no benefit.

He further said, ‘People like Amit Shah and Modi benefit from hatred. The people of Bihar suffer losses due to hatred. The people of Bihar have to protect the Constitution. These people are vote thieves, so be alert on the election day.
