Bollywood actor Rahul Roy is not in need of any identity today. He made a special place in the industry on the basis of his excellent acting, but after some time he went away from the limelight. He gained tremendous popularity with the 1990 film ‘Aashiqui’. However, after this his career did not reach the heights that the audience expected. After winning the award for the first season of ‘Bigg Boss’ in 2007, he once again came into limelight, but after some time he suddenly disappeared again.

In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Rahul Roy had said, ‘Aashiqui ran housefull for 6 months, but I did not get the benefit of it. I was worried and went to Mahesh Bhatt. He said people are looking at me right now. It happened exactly the same. After 6 months, I started getting offers for films continuously. In just 11 days I signed 47 films. Used to shoot three films a day. Later I felt that I had signed many films, but it was very difficult to do them together. After this I returned the money of 21 producers.

Rahul Roy’s 25 consecutive films flopped
After ‘Aashiqui’, Rahul Roy worked in films like ‘Gajab Tamasha’, ‘Sapne Saajan Ke’, ‘Phir Teri Kahani Yaad Aayi’, ‘Game’, ‘Gumrah’, ‘Majdhaar’, ‘Naseeb’ and ‘Achanak’, but none of the films could do wonders at the box office. His 25 consecutive films failed at the box office. After continuous flops, Rahul Roy gradually started moving away from films.

Rahul’s career ruined
As an actor, Rahul Roy tried his best to keep his acting alive. After films, he turned to TV and also worked in many serials. His luck changed again in the year 2007, when he won the first season of ‘Bigg Boss’, however, even after winning the trophy, Rahul Roy did not get much benefit from it.

Rahul Roy was shooting for LAC-Live The Battle in Ladakh in the year 2020, when he suffered a brain stroke, after which he was airlifted from Srinagar to Mumbai for treatment. His health had deteriorated due to difficult weather. During this time, his sister Priyanka Roy and brother-in-law Romveer Sen took care of him. His sister had told that Salman Khan had paid the hospital bills.

These are from the time when there was no brain stroke. If you make fun of my simplicity or my problems, or troll me, it says less about me and more about you.
