The family has challenged the government staff and said that the body of their child should be taken out of the grave and its post-mortem should be done. The whole truth will be revealed through post mortem. The family has also given an ultimatum that if the government does not exhume Nityansh’s body from the grave within 10 days and conduct post-mortem, they will be forced to approach the court.

The family now wants to conduct post mortem

5 year old Nityansh, resident of Sikar district of Rajasthan, died on September 29 after drinking cough syrup. The family was screaming and claiming that Nityansh had died due to drinking the syrup. The family wanted to get the post-mortem done at that time, but they were calmed down. Due to this, the family buried Nityansh’s body instead of cremating it. The family now wants to conduct post-mortem.

Nityansh’s father Mukesh Sharma reached Jaipur today demanding post-mortem. Met many organizations here and requested for help. He clearly said that the claims of the Health Minister and the government are false. All the children including Nityansh died after drinking cough syrup obtained from government hospitals. He has challenged the Health Minister and the government and said that when he is ready to conduct the post-mortem of his son, then why is his opinion not being accepted.

Government staff is putting pressure

He has clearly said that if his words are not accepted and the post-mortem of Nityansh’s body is not conducted, then he will be forced to approach the High Court. Nityansh’s father has also alleged that the government staff is pressurizing him. He is being asked to return the cough syrup given to Nityansh.

Organizations included in Sangharsh Samiti made serious allegations against the government

It is noteworthy that various organizations in Rajasthan have come together and formed a struggle committee regarding the issue of death of children due to cough syrup. The organizations included in the Sangharsh Committee have also made serious allegations against the government. Ashutosh Sharma and Rekha Sharma and others associated with the Sangharsh Samiti have said that if this cough medicine was not for children then why was it given to the children who reached the government hospital. Why was it not written anywhere on the medicine that this cough syrup is not for small children.

Along with this, without conducting post-mortem of any child, how is the Health Minister claiming that not a single death has occurred due to drinking medicine? If there is nothing wrong with the medicine then why were all the medicines of the company making this syrup banned. Why is this cough medicine not available in the open market?

Sangharsh Samiti also says that we are giving an ultimatum of 10 days to the government. If the government does not conduct the post-mortem of Nityansh’s body and take other necessary steps within 10 days, then they will hold a tribute meeting in Jaipur for the children who died due to cough syrup and start the movement from the next day.

Members of the Sangharsh Committee, including Ashutosh Sharma and Rekha Sharma, say that if the government does not agree, then Nityansh’s father will be put forward and the matter will be taken to the court. The incident of death of children will not be allowed to be whitewashed at all. Now it remains to be seen whether the government takes out Nityansh’s body from the grave and conducts post-mortem or not.
