Due to heavy rains, crops were submerged in villages and many houses have been damaged. The administration has shifted people to schools and community buildings. Teams are constantly patrolling in Kota, Bundi and Sawai Madhopur to deal with the flood situation.

At present, the rain has stopped in these districts, but if there is heavy rains again on Saturday, then the situation may worsen.

According to officials, the district administration has started relief and rescue operations at a quick speed in areas affected due to continuous rains and overflows in Kota district.

To help the district administration, the team of 80 soldiers of the Infantry Regiment of the Army’s Gandiv Division reached Nimoda village of Digod Tehsil and started relief and rescue operations.

CM gave instructions to stay on alert mode

Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has instructed the collector of all the districts and the concerned government staff to stay on alert mode. He said that enough resources should be prepared to deal with any situation.

The Meteorological Department has warned that many districts may receive heavy rains again in the next 24 hours. In such a situation, both the administration and the general public need to be vigilant.
