The actor said, ‘The man who can speak, sit, get up, that man is blessed and his time is good whether he is in jail, whether he is on bail, wherever he is.’

Let us tell you that Rajpal Yadav had to go to jail in a check bounce case. In 2010, the actor had taken a loan of Rs 5 crore from Murali Projects Private Limited to make the film Ata Pata Lapata. However, this film flopped miserably at the box office.

In such a situation, the actor could not repay that money. There was no money in his account and when the check was deposited it bounced. First, the court ordered him several times to repay the loan. But, when he did not do so, the court ordered him to surrender in Tihar Jail.

Rajpal Yadav had also filed an application to increase the surrender limit. But his application was rejected. The court had said- Rajpal Yadav is in Bombay. He was given 2 days time to surrender. There is no reason to show leniency now.
