AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his government over the alleged attempt to attack the Chief Justice of India (CJI). Asaduddin Owaisi, on behalf of lawyer Rakesh Kishore, has accused the government of being biased on the basis of religion in this case regarding the attack on CJI BR Gavai and is not taking strict action against the accused.

Asaduddin Owaisi, Lok Sabha MP from Hyderabad, said, ‘If his (lawyer who tried to throw the shoe) name was not Rakesh Kishore and it was Asad, what would the police have done? People of the Bharatiya Janata Party would say, ‘Pick him up!’, ‘He has come from the neighboring country’, ‘He is from the Pakistani intelligence department ISI’. He would then be attacked from all sides.

Police and government accused of adopting double standards

Owaisi has accused the Delhi Police and the Central Government of adopting a double standard on the basis of religious identity in the case of the alleged attack on lawyer Rakesh Kishore. Along with this, he compared this incident with the recent incident in Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh.

He said, ‘When the Muslim community had protested against the removal of I Love Mohammed banners, the UP Police had taken immediate action, whereas this did not happen in the case of Rakesh Kishore. Rakesh Kishore, while mentioning Bareilly in the list of his complaints against the CJI, had said that CJI BR Gavai and the Supreme Court should not have commented against the bulldozer justice policy of Yogi Adityanath.

Owaisi made a direct attack on Prime Minister Modi

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi directly attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding this incident. He said, ‘Tell me Modi ji, are your government and your policies not responsible for this? These are the same people to whom your government has given power. He said, ‘It is the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Central Government that have filled the hearts of such people with poison.’

Owaisi said, ‘Even today that Rakesh Kishore says that he does not care about anything. Prime Minister, Delhi Police comes under you and you just give a statement that this is very wrong. He stressed, ‘Even though CJI BR Gavai himself has decided not to register any case, the Prime Minister should have taken suo motu legal action, mere condemnation should not have sufficed.’

Chief Justice Bhushan Ramakrishna Gavai, mother of CJI Br Gavai, and sister Kirti Arjun Gavai have strongly opposed the incident to throw the shoe. Kamalatai Gawai said that no one has the right to spread chaos by taking law in hand.

Kirti Gawai, sister of CJI BR Gawai, has also reacted strongly to the incident. He said, ‘Tomorrow’s incident is a stigma and condemnable on the country. This is not only a personal attack, but a poisonous ideology, which has to be stopped. Action should be taken against those doing unconstitutional conduct. We should register protest at the level of the Constitution and peacefully so that Babasaheb’s views do not get any heat.

On October 6, a lawyer named Rakesh Kishore in the Supreme Court suddenly moved towards the bench of CJI BR Gawai and tried to throw the shoe. The security personnel present on the spot immediately took him under control and took him out of the court. Eyewitnesses said that while going out, he was raising the slogan- India will not bear the insult to Sanatan Dharma. However, CJI BR Gavai remained quiet during this whole incident and he also asked the lawyers not to be distracted by it. He said that such things have no effect on him.

Rakesh Kishore was detained for some time and then left. The Bar Council of India has canceled Rakesh Kishore’s license. Now he cannot advocate and advocate in a court, tribunal or tribunal. Rakesh Kishore has also given the reason for doing so. Talking to news agency IANS, he described the incident as a divine act. He said that all this was not done by me, but God did it to me. I did not mind to do so.

He said that a message was hidden behind this action of mine, which I was trying to reach there. CJI Gawai heard a PIL on 16 September. I am not aware of who filed PIL. After all, who was a lawyer?

Advocate Rakesh Kishore claimed that the CJI had insulted Sanatan Dharma during the hearing. Khujraho has a seven -foot statue of Lord Vishnu. The head of this idol is different from the torso. When foreign invaders came to India, they attacked many Hindu temples. These temples were also included in them. The idol of Lord Vishnu was damaged in the attack. I myself have cried near that idol. I am sad that the head of such a beautiful idol is missing. This is a matter of sorrow for all of us.

Rakesh Kishore said that when the demand to fix this idol was raised in front of the CJI, he said that ‘You are a devotee of such a great God. You go and tell the idol to ‘do something, fix yourself.’ I did not like this comment. Even more sad I was that the CJI dismissed the petitioner’s petition.
