Ram navami 2025: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar (Nitish Kumar) attended the program organized through Shri Ramnavami Shobha Yatra Abhinandan Samiti at Dakbangla intersection in Patna on Sunday. The Chief Minister welcomed the Shobha Yatra and performed Aarti and was honored by offering him symbol. On this occasion, a large number of people greeted the Chief Minister.

In the procession, events related to the life of Lord Rama were displayed as beautiful tableaux. Apart from the replica of the newly constructed Shri Ramlala Temple in Ayodhya, along with a nine and a half feet statue of Shri Ramlala, a ten -foot statue of Hanuman ji was also a special attraction of Ramnavami procession. Apart from this, artists from all over the country also participated in this event.

The entire area in Patna since night

On the occasion of Ramnavami, all the roads in the capital Patna are adorned with Mahaviri flags, banners, Ramnam flags and toran dadvas. Since last night, the entire area has become Rammay. All temples are attractively decorated with flowers and garlands. Special arrangements have been made for Ramnavami in the famous Mahavir temple located near Patna Junction.

Tight security arrangements have been made about Ramnavami. All the major temples of the capital are being monitored with CCTV cameras and additional policemen have been deputed from place to place. Drone is being monitored. A senior police officer from Patna said that police patrol has been increased in view of Ram Navami.

Amit malviya attack on mamata bnerjee: The celebration of Ramnavami was celebrated with great pomp across the country. Jhakis and Shobha Yatra were taken out from West Bengal to many states like Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh. At the same time, politics was also at its peak on this occasion. BJP IT cell chief Amit Malviya attacked Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.

On the social media platform X, he wrote, ‘West Bengal turned into a saffron ocean on Ramnavami, despite that Mamata Banerjee tried to give it a green color. Many people are questioning her selective approach – a few days ago she was on Red Road, actively participating in the celebration of Eid. She regularly participates in prayer at Park Street on the eve of Christmas, yet she did not participate in a single Ramnavami Shobha Yatra. Their works show clear prejudice, considering Hindus as second -class citizens and showing contempt towards their faith and traditions.

Many Shobha Yatra taken out across the state

On the occasion of Ramnavami, several Shobha Yatras were taken out in Bengal and programs were organized. Security system was tightened in view of the possibility of unrest. The leaders of both BJP and Trinamool Congress participated in this festival. In an important development before next year’s assembly elections, Leader of Opposition Shubhendu Adhikari laid the foundation stone of Ram temple in Sonchura village of Nandigram in East Medinipur district. In West Bengal, there was a program to take out about 2,500 Shobha Yatras on the occasion of Ram Navami and during this period more than 6,000 policemen were deployed to maintain law and order.

In North Howrah, Trinamool Councilor Gautam Chaudhary attended a Shobha Yatra organized by Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) in Salkia. In New Town near Kolkata, BJP leader Lockett Chatterjee got into an argument with the police when he stopped the Shobha Yatra by putting a blocker and asked to go by another route. Despite the deadlock, Chatterjee himself tried to move forward. During this, BJP leader Arjun Singh was also present on the spot.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Tamil Nadu on Sunday (April 6, 2025) and will inaugurate India’s first vertical lift sea bridge-new Pamban rail bridge on the occasion of Ram Navami. The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) gave this information in a statement.

According to the statement issued by the PMO, PM Modi will flag off a train and a ship from the road bridge and look at the operation of the bridge. After the inauguration of the bridge, he will visit and worship at the Ramanathaswamy temple in Rameswaram. The PMO said in the statement, “The cultural significance of this bridge is very deep. According to the Ramayana, the construction of Ram Setu started from Dhanushkodi near Rameswaram.

This bridge connecting Rameswaram with the mainland stands as a remarkable achievement of Indian engineering on the global stage. It has been built at a cost of more than Rs 550 crore. Its length is 2.08 km, it has 99 spans and 72.5 meters vertical lift span which rises up to a height of 17 meters. This provides facilities for smooth movement of ships while ensuring uninterrupted train operations.

This bridge, built with stainless steel reinforcement, high -class protective paints and fully welded joints, requires greater durability and low maintenance. It is designed for dual rail tracks to meet future demands. Special polycyloxen coating protects it from rust, which makes the bridge last long lasting in a rigid sea environment.

According to the PMO, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for various rail and road projects costing more than Rs 8,300 crore in the state at around 1.30 pm and will dedicate them to the nation. On this occasion, he will also address the public meeting.

These projects include the foundation stone of the work of making the 28 km long Walzpet-Ranipet section of the National Highway-40 a four-lane and the 29 km long Vilupapuram-Puducherry section of the National Highway-332, the work of making four-lane, the 57 km long Pundiancupam-Suttanathapuram section of National Highway-32 and 48 km of National Highway-36.

The PMO said in a statement, “These highways will connect many pilgrimage places and tourist destinations, reduce the distance between cities and enable the medical colleges and hospitals to reach fast access to the ports. Apart from this, they will empower local farmers to bring agricultural products to the nearest markets and promote the economic activity of local leather and small scale industries. ”
