Union Minister Ramdas Athawale has given his reaction on the end of Sonam Wangchuk’s fast and the continuation of CJP’s protest. Speaking to the media, Union Minister Ramdas Athawale said, “Sonam Wangchuk was sitting on a hunger strike. Her weight had reduced by about 9-9.5 kg. After this, the police admitted her to the hospital. Union Ministers JP Nadda and Jitendra Singh have met her and got her hunger strike ended.”

Athawale further said, “Some way out can be found through talks.” I think Abhijeet Deepke also needs to think about this. We say that even if Dharmendra Pradhan resigns, the question remains that how can the paper leak be stopped. Therefore, the government has decided to make a law to stop this. The demands of the students can be discussed. The movement should end quickly.”

Those who leak the paper should get strict punishment – Athawale

The Union Minister further said that I have talked about the issue of NEET paper leak earlier also. Whatever happened is very wrong. The government is going to strengthen the law.
