On this day in 2016, on the occasion of Diwali, Karan Johar’s multi-starrer film ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ was released in theatres. In this film, many celebs including Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai showed their acting skills and the film proved to be a hit at the box office. Now 9 years have passed since the release of this masterpiece of Karan Johar.

‘Perhaps this is my most personal film..’
On this occasion, Karan Johar has shared behind-the-scenes pictures of ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ with fans on his official Instagram handle. While sharing photos with Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai, the filmmaker described ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ as his personal film. While sharing the caption, he wrote – ‘It’s almost a decade but it feels like it was just yesterday when I was on the set, perhaps this is my most personal film.’

‘My heart will never forget this..’
While sharing pictures with the star cast of the film, he has refreshed the memories of the old days. In the first picture, Karan Johar is seen with the lead of the film, while in the second picture he can be seen with Anushka Sharma. Recalling these beautiful moments, he further wrote in the caption – ‘I was feeling happy doing what I do, especially with the wonderful actors, from the cast to the crew. My heart will never forget this. In the last line of his caption, the director of ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ also thanked the audience for making it a box office hit.

Dhoom 4
