According to the report of Variety India, Excel Entertainment has demanded Rs 40 crore from the actor as compensation for this loss. Excel claims that there has been a huge financial loss due to Ranveer’s departure. This includes money spent in development and delays in scheduling, planning and commitments. Apart from this, the production house fired many departments. HODs asked to find work outside.

Whereas Ranveer Singh says that he is not responsible for giving any amount to Excel. Ranveer says that he has already backed out from projects without demanding any compensation. This current situation should not be treated differently. Ranveer did not like the script. For this reason he left the film.

2 hour conversation between Ranveer and Excel

It was written in the report- Ranveer kept asking for changes in the script. But he did not like the final draft. The production house claims that they started the pre-production work only when Ranveer agreed. There was a two-hour conversation between Ranveer and the production house on Friday.
