After retiring from Tata Sons in 2012, Ratan Tata lived here with his favorite German Shepherd and House Staff and handled his Tata Trust work. Now, Tata Trust Chairman and Ratan Tata’s half -brother Noel Tata can settle in this bungalow with his family. Citing sources, TOI has mentioned this in one of his reports. Currently, Noel Tata lives in a six -storey building Windmier at the Cuff Parade in Mumbai. However, it is being told that he may soon shift to Halekai.

Luxury bungalow made in 13,350 square feet

Halakai, built on a 13,350 square feet plot, is a four -storey bungalow, which is owned by Evart Investments, which is a fully owned subsidiary of Tata Sons. Since the death of Ratan Tata in October 2024, the house is allegedly lying vacant. A few days after Ratan Tata’s death, Noel was appointed the chairman of Tata Tata Trust. He has a 66 percent stake in Tata Sons, a Tata Group’s original company. Noel Trent and Tata Investment Corporation Chairman, Tata International Managing Director and Titan Company and Tata Steel Vice Chairman.

According to the Economic Times report, he gave most of his assets worth Rs 3800 crore to ‘Ratan Tata Endowment Foundation’ and ‘Ratan Tata Endowment Trust’, which are engaged in social work related work. Let us know that Ratan Tata’s 70 percent stake in Tata Sons has been given to Ratan Tata Endowment Foundation (RTEF) and the remaining 30 percent to Ratan Tata Endowment Trust (RTET).

Family and friends also take care

However, while making a will, he also took care of family, close friends and pets. Some of his other properties include things like bank FDs, watches, paintings, which cost around Rs 800 crore. He has given one-third of this to his two step sisters- Shirin Jejebhoy and Dina Jejbhoy.

The remaining one third of Mohini M Dutta has been received, who has been a former Tata Group employee. She was also considered close to Ratan Tata. His will also includes the no-contact clause, under which the person challenging the will will lose all the property and rights given to him in the will.

Ratan Tata’s brother 82 -year -old Jimmy Naval will get a part of Juhu bungalow. He has given three guns to his close friend Mehli Mistry as well as three guns in Alibaug. One of them is also a.25 bore pistol, which he liked very much.

Pets also took care

Ratan Tata has also kept a fund of Rs 12 lakh for pets, under which every animal will get Rs 30,000 every three months, which will bear the expenses of their maintenance. Along with this, Ratan Tata’s manager and personal assistant has also been forgiven the education loan of Shantanu Nayakudu and neighbor Jake Malite.
