Chennai Super Kings buys Cameron Green, Liam Livingstone goes to KKR

In Ashwin’s mock auction, Australian all-rounder Cameron Green was bought by Chennai Super Kings for Rs 21 crore. However, Kolkata Knight Riders also made a strong bid for Green in the auction. After Green, England’s spin all-rounder Liam Livingstone was the second most expensive player. Livingstone was bought by Kolkata for Rs 18.5 crore. Last season, Livingstone was part of champion RCB.

Venkatesh Iyer sold for 17.5 crores, Prithvi Shaw got 5.25 crores

The most interesting thing in this auction was that Venkatesh Iyer was once again bought by Kolkata Knight Riders. However, this time their price became lower than before. KKR bought Iyer in mock auction for Rs 17.5 crore. Apart from this, KKR also gave a huge amount to Prithvi Shaw. KKR spent Rs 5.25 crore for Shaw.

In this mock auction, leg spinner Ravi Bishnoi was sold for Rs 10.5 crore. Bishnoi was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad. Whereas former Australian captain and legendary batsman Steve Smith was not sold in the auction. He remained unsold along with his compatriot Jack Fraser McGurk. At the same time, Delhi Capitals included Sri Lankan young fast bowler Mathisha Pathirana in their team for Rs 7 crore.
