Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khwaja Asif got involved in controversies during an interview, when he was questioned about the social media account of former Prime Minister Imran Khan. Earlier, Asif claimed that Imran’s X (East Twitter) account is being operated from India. But in an interview to British-American journalist Mehdi Hasan, he said that in reality Imran Khan is running an account from Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail.

In the interview, Hasan mentioned Imran Khan’s recent court trial, in which his lawyer said that the hearing took place on WhatsApp and the judge and Imran could not listen to each other. When Asif was asked if it was just, he denied it and said, “This has not happened. Imran Khan is running the Twitter (X) account.” Hasan retorted, “A few days ago you said that it is operating from India.”

On this, Asif said, “What is the truth? Either he is running from jail or at least tell who is running.” When asked the evidence of the claim of running an account with India, Asif said that it is a case related to intelligence and cannot be shared publicly.

In this interview, Asif also spoke on Pakistan-China and Pakistan-America relations. He said that the relationship with China is time-reflected and reliable, while relations with America have always been informal and trust. We are talking about the Indian Air Force’s brave wing commander Dilip Kamalakar, who entered inside Pakistan not once but twice and from there and returned to his country.

Air Force Medal was received for bravery in 1965

In 1963, within two years of the commissioned of the Indian Air Force, Parulkar entered and attacked Pakistan in 1965, when Parulkar was in the post of flying officer in the Air Force. He was posted at Halwara Hawaii Base in Ludhiana, Punjab. In September 1965, Parulkar along with three of his colleagues went inside Pakistan and attacked Sargodha Hawaii Base.

However, Parulkar became a victim of a Pakistani bullet during his return. A bullet of the anti-aircraft gun on the tanks of the Pakistani army ripped Parul’s aircraft into his left shoulder and then came out of the cockpit. But without losing his courage, Parulkar took over his aircraft with one hand and also made a deadly landing in India. He was also awarded the Air Force Medal next year for this bravery.

At the same time, in 1971, Wing Commander Parulkar once again showed his brave. Parulkar entered East Pakistan on December 10, 1971 from Sukhoi-Saber Fighter Jet and fired bullets on the tanks of the enemy Pakistani army, but Parulkar’s aircraft was damaged in a counter-attack and he ejected from the jet and made a prisoner in East Pakistan. However, after the surrender of the Pakistani Army, on December 25, 1971, all the prisoners of India were allowed to meet each other. During this, Parulkar’s meeting IAF flight Lieutenant M.S. Grewal and flight were from Lieutenant Harish Singhji. Parulkar, along with the two IAF officers, planned to flee Rawalpindi jail.

Failure from Pakistan jail after eight months IAF All three brave

Wing Commander DK Parulkar carried out his plan on August 12, 1972 with his colleagues after eight months of the warfare and escaped from Rawalpindi Jail through a tunnel. Together, the three had prepared a tunnel from outside the jail, due to which he successfully came out of jail. After absconding from jail, the three moved towards the border of Afghanistan, but the three miles from the Afghanistan border fell from a tehsildar and during the interrogation of the Tehsildar, he had to go to jail again due to his mistake.

This time he was imprisoned in Layalpur Jail in Faisalabad instead of Rawalpindi Jail, where more than 600 Indian warfare was imprisoned. On November 24, 1972, Wazir-e-Azam Zulfikar Ali Bhutto of Pakistan announced the release of all the prisoners. A week after the announcement of Bhutto, all other Indian prisoners along with Wing Commander DK Parulkar were released and sent back through the Attari-Bagha border.
