There is great news for experienced professionals who are dreaming of working in a higher position in a government bank. Reserve Bank of India has announced recruitment on various expert posts under Lateral Recruitment for the year 2025. The most special thing about this recruitment is that there will be no written examination in this. Candidates will be selected through interview on the basis of their qualification and experience.

In this recruitment, the selected candidates will be appointed on full time contract basis. All the posts are of Grade-C level, which are considered very important in terms of both responsibility and salary.

What is lateral recruitment?

Lateral recruitment means giving job to an experienced and expert professional in a particular field directly on the basis of his qualification and experience. RBI needs experts in areas like data, IT, cyber security, risk management and analytics, that is why this recruitment has been done.

How many posts will be recruited?

Under RBI Lateral Recruitment 2025, Reserve Bank of India has announced recruitment on a total of 93 posts. All these posts will be filled through lateral entry, that is, only experienced and expert candidates will be appointed. This recruitment includes many important posts related to data science, IT, cyber security, risk management, financial analysis and banking domain. All the posts are of Grade-C level.

age limit

Under this recruitment, the minimum age of the candidates has been kept between 21 to 40 years, while the maximum age limit has been set from 40 to 62 years. Candidates are advised to check the age limit information of the post for which they are applying in the official notification.

application fee

General, OBC and EWS category candidates will have to pay Rs 600 plus GST, whereas for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Disabled candidates, the application fee has been fixed at Rs 100 plus GST. The application fee can be paid only through online mode.
