Royal Challengers Bangalore has also included Yash Dayal in its retention list (RCB Retained Players List) for IPL 2026. This decision of RCB is being heavily criticized, because Yash currently has two serious criminal cases registered against him, including one case under the POCSO Act. Last year, RCB had retained Yash Dayal for Rs 5 crore.

Two separate cases are registered against Yash Dayal in Ghaziabad and Jaipur and both are related to sexual exploitation. Mayank Agarwal

After the injury of Devdutt Padikkal, RCB included Mayank Agarwal in the team in his place. Padikkal was looking in good form before his exit, scoring 247 runs in 10 innings at a strike rate of 150.60. Experienced batsman Mayank Agarwal played only 4 matches for RCB, in which he scored 94 runs at a strike rate of 148.43. But with the expectation of Padikkal’s arrival, RCB may release Mayank, so that they have more money in their purse.

Swapnil Singh
