Hormuz, which was closed since the American attack on February 28, has opened, but not completely. Hormuz is still closed but not completely. That means Hormuz is both open and closed. But the real question now is that for whom is Hormuz open and for whom is it closed?

If Hormuz is open then who has opened it and if Hormuz is closed then who has closed it. And an even bigger question is what is the status of Hormuz for India. Is Hormuz open for India or is it still closed for India and the shortage going on in India regarding LPG is going to increase further. After the failure of US-Iran talks, what is the reality of the different claims of Iran and America on Hormuz?

America’s talks with Iran failed
In fact, as soon as US Vice President JD Vance said that America’s talks with Iran have failed and the American delegation is returning to America without any conclusion, Trump got angry. And in this anger, he announced that now America’s Navy will enter Hormuz and blockade Hormuz. Trump had said that the US Navy will decide that no ship will be able to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. Then the plan of the shipping companies was that they would pay toll to Iran for passing through Hormuz and in return Iran would allow those ships to pass through Hormuz.

Central Command itself rejected Trump’s claim
But this statement of Trump has been rejected by America’s Central Command i.e. Centcom itself and has said that the American Navy will stop only those ships in Hormuz which are either bringing oil from any port of Iran through Hormuz or any ship is going to any port of Iran through Hormuz. It means clearly that Trump is saying that Hormuz will be completely closed whereas his army is saying that Hormuz will be closed only for Iranian ships. However, whether it is about Trump or his Navy, the only objective is to ensure that Iran is not able to earn money by selling oil.

What did Iran say on opening of Hormuz?
Iran says that Hormuz will be closed, but only for Israel and America. Any other country and its ships that want to pass through Hormuz should pay toll to Iran and then Iran will allow them to pass through the safe passage made in Hormuz itself. Iran’s elite force IRGC, on the threat of first Trump and then American Centcom, has said that if any navy ship enters Hormuz, it will be considered a violation of ceasefire and then the Iranian army will give a befitting reply.

Fear of war starting again!
In such a situation, there is a fear that this war will start once again. And this time the scope of the war will be till Hormuz, in which the American Navy will be on one side and the Iranian Navy will be on the other side. Trump is confident that the navies of other countries will support America for this siege, but first Britain and then other countries have also rejected Trump’s plan and have said that their navies will not go to open Hormuz. In such a situation, Trump has again come to the same crossroads from where the closure of Hormuz started.
Also read: First threat of 50% tariff, now recommendation to buy oil from US… Trump’s new maneuver amid Iran war

And now Trump will have to fight this war alone, for which the American Navy is hardly prepared. Because if the American Navy had been prepared alone, perhaps the siege of Hormuz would have been completed by now. But seeing the weakness of the American Navy, Trump had earlier said that his country has nothing to do with Hormuz and anyone who wants to buy oil should either get Hormuz opened or buy oil from America.

Are difficulties going to increase for India?
But Trump is the only one who sticks to his words. So Trump has turned again and in his insistence wants to capture Hormuz, which is not easy at all. As far as India is concerned, first, through the goodwill of Iran and the diplomacy of India, some ships came to India carrying LPG from Hormuz. But now when the American Navy and the Iranian Navy will be face to face, hardly any shipping company will send its ship through Hormuz, because now the threat is not only from Iran but also from America.
Also read: ‘If Iranian port is threatened, nothing will be safe’, IRGC threatens America

According to this, India has again reached the same place where it is facing shortage of LPG and if the war continues for a long time then this shortage will extend from gas to oil as well. And if there is a shortage of oil, then it will not only be difficult but impossible to stop the inflation.
