Meanwhile, DNA samples were taken from the body found in the I20 car after the explosion. On the instructions of Home Minister Amit Shah, the FSL team matched these samples with the DNA samples taken from Omar’s family. Jammu and Kashmir Security Establishment said that these DNA samples were sent to Delhi and after confirming the report, it was handed over to the National Investigation Agency (NIA).
