Xiaomi has officially launched the new smartphone of its Redmi series Redmi 15 5G. This phone is designed for users who are looking for big batteries, high-refresh rate displays and AI features, that too in the budget. It includes a large 6.9-inch Full HD+ display, Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 processor and any global device of Xiaomi with the largest 7,000mAh battery with a 144hz refresh rate.

Redmi 15 5G in Malaysia for MyR 729 (about Rs 15,000) Launched Is. Currently it has been launched in single variants with 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. This smartphone will be available in three color options – Ripple Green, Titan Gray and Midnight Black. The company has confirmed that it will be launched in India on 18 August 2025. The sale will be through Xiaomi’s website and offline stores.

Redmi 15 5G has a 6.9-inch full HD+ display that supports the 144Hz refresh rate and 288Hz touch sampling rate. Wet touch 2.0 technology has been provided in the screen, which will also provide smooth touch response from wet fingers. The phone has Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset, which has been optimized for performance and battery management. It runs on Android 15 based Hyperos 2.0 and has smart AI features like Circle to search, AI Eraser, AI Sky, and Dynamic Shots.

The camera setup has a secondary lens with a 50MP primary camera. The front has an 8MP selfie camera. The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security.

The battery is its biggest feature. The phone is equipped with a large battery of 7000mAh, which supports 33W fast charging and 18W reverse charging. It also provides features like Hi-RS Audio, Dolby Atmos and IP64 rated builds. The phone has an option of virtual RAM expansion, which makes it worth up to 16GB to use RAM and includes MicrosD card support up to 2TB.
