The Maharashtra government has announced a new initiative to reduce human-monkey conflict. Under this, the State Forest Department has issued an SOP (Standard Operating Procedure), in which a provision has been made to safely catch the unruly monkeys and release them in the forest areas. This step has been taken with the aim of preventing monkey attacks and damage in human settlements as well as ensuring the safety of wildlife.

According to the SOP, a trained rescue team will be formed in the state, which will solve the monkey problems arising in human settlements. After capturing these monkeys, they will be released in forest areas at least 10 kilometers away from human settlements. This process will not only ensure the safety of people, but will also provide an opportunity to the monkeys to live a safe life in their natural habitat.

Government will give Rs 300 to catch a monkey

According to media reports, local experienced people will also be included in this scheme. Financial incentives will be given to trained persons who catch monkeys and release them at a safe place. If a person safely catches and rescues up to 10 monkeys, he will get an honorarium of Rs 600 per monkey. At the same time, if more than 10 monkeys or apes are caught in any case, then a prize money of Rs 300 per monkey has been fixed. However, the total financial assistance given in a single case will not exceed Rs 10,000.

Rs 1,000 will be given for catching five monkeys

Additionally, if a trained person catches up to five monkeys, he will get additional payment of up to Rs 1,000 as travel expenses. No separate travel expenses will be given for capturing more than five monkeys. This system is designed to encourage local people to return monkeys to forest areas in a responsible and safe manner.

Rescue team will release monkeys safely in the forest area

The Forest Department says that this initiative will reduce conflict between humans and wildlife and will increase understanding and sensitivity among people towards monkeys. Experts believe that this method of controlling unruly monkeys is more sustainable and environment-friendly. Under this scheme, monkeys will be safely released into the forest area with the help of trained rescue team and local people. The government has instructed all concerned officers and departments to play an active role. This initiative of the Maharashtra government is being considered a positive step towards increasing security in human settlements and strengthening wildlife conservation.

Eighth pay commission: The Central Employees and Pensioners Eighth Pay Commission across the country are eagerly awaited. Those who are expecting their salary-pension to increase. The recent Ambit Capital report has stressed the speculation that the salary of government employees may increase by about 30 to 34 percent. According to the eighth pay commission applied accordingly, it can be implemented in 2026 or FY 2027. After this, the government will have an additional burden of about Rs 1.8 lakh crore.

Pay Commission every 10 years

Pay Commission is formed by the Central Government at an interval of every ten years. In this, the current salary structure of central employees and pensioners, including the soldiers engaged in defense, is amended on the basis of inflation and other economic aspects. Experts are hoping that in the recommendation on behalf of the Pay Commission, it will be recommended to increase the DA according to inflation along with the basic pay of the central employees. Along with this, pension will also be revised according to the new salary structure.

A fitment factor is installed for the salary revision of government employees. If the report of Ambit Capital is to be believed, then a fitment range of 1.83 to 2.46 can be implemented on it. If this happens, the minimum salary will increase from Rs 32,940 to Rs 44,280. The fitment factor is that, according to the new Pay Commission, it is multiply multiply with the existing basic pay for new salary structure.

How much salary will increase?

If a fitment is applied in this way, 2.46 is implemented, then in this case, if someone’s salary is 50 thousand rupees, then his salary will increase to Rs 1.23 lakh. But if the fitment factor is 1.83, then its salary will increase to Rs 91,500.

It is believed that with the implementation of the Eighth Pay Commission, not only the government employees but also for the Indian economy are going to be very beneficial. The reason for this is that when the salary of the people increases, they will spend on consumption and it will get the speed of growth.
