How did Country Chicken Company start?

In fact, to run his business properly, he studied technology from an incubation program of ICAR-National Meat Research Institute and laid the first foundation of ‘Country Chicken Company’ in the year 2022 along with three friends. Where, he laid special emphasis on the fact that the image of unhygienic meat shops can be completely changed, apart from this he made a new strategy to stock high quality desi chicken by creating hygienic supermarket like stores.

In the initial days, apart from the society, his friends and other people also made fun of him. So much so that people started saying, “After studying so much from IIT, will you now sell chickens?” But, they say don’t listen to everyone but do your own thing. He just worked hard on his dreams without caring about anyone. Apart from this, they started selling their products in premium packaging like a gift item, which customers started buying immediately.

Revenue worth crores and farmers got benefit

So, after opening India’s first authentic desi chicken store in Hyderabad, his company started expanding rapidly. Today the company has created a strong network of more than 15 thousand poultry farmers in South India, due to which the farmers are also getting the right price for their produce.

However, the company whose revenue was only Rs 3 lakh per month in January 2022, has increased to beyond Rs 1.2 crore per month by April 2023. Which, in the financial year 2022-23, the total turnover of the company was seen up to Rs 5 crore.
