Rishabh pant century: Rishabh Pant has scored another century of his IPL career. He has completed a century in 54 balls in 54 balls in the match against Royal Challengers, with this he has become the fastest century for LSG. This is Pant’s second century in the Indian Premier League, which he had to wait for 2574 days long. Pant hit 10 fours and 6 skyscraper sixes in his innings till the century completed the century.

Prior to the match against RCB, Rishabh Pant scored just 151 runs in 12 innings. In the match against Bengaluru, Pant came to bat on number-3. He, along with Mitchell Marsh, did a great partnership of 152 runs. He then added 49 runs with Nicholas Puran. Pant returned unbeaten after scoring 118 runs in 61 balls, in this innings he hit 11 fours and 8 sixes.

Century came after 2574 days

Rishabh Pant’s first century in IPL came against Sunrisers Hyderabad on the date of 10 May 2018. Now 2574 days have passed for those things and now after waiting for about 7 years, Pant has been able to score a century in the Indian Premier League. This century is also special because Pant’s highest score was 63 runs in IPL 2025 before the match against RCB and so far he had only put only one fifty in the season.

The fastest century for LSG

Till now, KL Rahul’s name was the record of scoring the fastest century for LSG, who completed a 56 -ball century in the match against Mumbai Indians in 2023. Now Rishabh Pant has taken this record by scoring a century in 54 balls.
