India vs South Africa second test will start from tomorrow in Guwahati. The first test match was played in Kolkata, in which South Africa won by 30 runs. Rishabh Pant has given a big statement on this subject and said that he is hopeful of getting a better pitch in Guwahati.

Before the start of the second Test, Rishabh Pant said in the press conference, “First of all, I would like to say that this ground is very close to my heart, my ODI debut took place here and I am also making my captaincy debut of the Test team from this ground. This will always be special for me and probably a special thing for the whole of Guwahati because a Test match is being held here for the first time.”

Rishabh Pant further said, “Everyone is getting a special experience by coming here. As far as the pitch is concerned, I think this time the pitch will be better, especially for batting. Yes, there will be a turn in it after a few days, but in my view it is going to be a good match.”

Earlier, Rishabh Pant had thanked BCCI for giving him the captaincy. He said, “I thank BCCI for the captaincy. Sometimes you start thinking too much about a big match, it doesn’t help much. I don’t want to think too much. The first Test did not go well for us, so we have to do whatever is necessary to win the second Test.”

Shubman Gill is officially out of the India vs South Africa 2nd Test. He went off the field due to a neck injury on the second day of the first Test played in Kolkata. His pain was so much that he had to be taken to the hospital. He could not come to bat in the second innings also. There was already doubt over the playing of Gill, who arrived with the team in Guwahati, but now BCCI has confirmed it by issuing a statement. In his absence, Rishabh Pant will be the captain.

BCCI said in its statement, “Team India captain Shubman Gill, who suffered a neck injury during the first Test against South Africa, has been ruled out of the second Test to be held in Guwahati. Gill suffered a neck injury on the second day of the Kolkata Test and after the end of the day’s play, he was taken to the hospital for examination. He was kept under observation and discharged the next day. He went to Guwahati on November 19, 2025. Unfortunately. “He was not fully fit to play in the second Test and will go to Mumbai for further investigation on his injury. Rishabh Pant will captain the team in the second Test in Gill’s absence.”

Rishabh pant century: Rishabh Pant has scored another century of his IPL career. He has completed a century in 54 balls in 54 balls in the match against Royal Challengers, with this he has become the fastest century for LSG. This is Pant’s second century in the Indian Premier League, which he had to wait for 2574 days long. Pant hit 10 fours and 6 skyscraper sixes in his innings till the century completed the century.
