This happened for the first time in 18 years

Veteran Indian cricket player Rohit Sharma has been playing ODI for Team India since June 2007. But in his 18-year-old cricketing career, Rohit Sharma has never become the number one batsman in the ICC rankings. After his strong performance in the ODI series against Australia, at the age of 38, Rohit has become the number one ODI batsman. Rohit scored 202 runs in the series against Australia. Rohit has benefited from this strong batting in ICC rankings. Now Rohit Sharma remains the number one ODI batsman with 781 rating points.

Virat Kohli in ICC rankings

Virat Kohli has suffered a loss in the ICC rankings. Before the ODI series against Australia, Virat was at number five in the ODI rankings. But after this series, now Kohli has come at number six. Virat had returned to the pavilion without opening his account in the first two ODIs on the Australia tour. In the third ODI match, Virat played an innings of 74 runs in 81 balls. Now Virat Kohli is at sixth position in the latest ICC ODI rankings with 725 rating points.

Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli ICC Rankings: India’s legendary players Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have retired from T20 and Test cricket. Both these veterans announced retirement from 20 overs game after T20 World Cup 2024. Shubman Gill on top in ICC rankings

Shubman Gill, captain of India’s Test team in ICC ODI rankings, is number one. Gill has 784 rating points in ODI. After Shubman Gill in this list, Pakistani cricketer Babar Azam is at number two with 766 rating points.
