A big revelation has been made in the charge sheet of Mumbai Police Crime Branch in the case of firing outside the house of film director Rohit Shetty. In this 1624-page charge sheet, it has been claimed that during the incident, Anmol Bishnoi was allegedly in contact with the main accused through live video call.

Was continuously monitoring the operation till the firing was completed. According to the police, along with giving instructions to the shooter on video call, Anmol was also encouraging him.

Mumbai Police has filed this charge sheet in the special MCOCA court. Sections of Maharashtra Control of Organized Crime Act (MCOCA) have been added in the case, due to which the investigation has become more serious. A total of 17 accused have been named in the charge sheet. Investigative agencies believe that different people played different roles in planning and carrying out the attack.

According to sources, this attack was not a sudden incident, but a well-planned conspiracy with the aim of establishing terror and supremacy of the gang.

According to the charge sheet, the main shooter Pradeep Kumar had allegedly tried to attack about 10 days before the actual firing. The accused reached near Rohit Shetty’s house and was present at the spot for about 30 minutes, but allegedly could not muster the courage and returned without firing.

Anmol Bishnoi reprimanded the shooter

Investigation has also revealed that after this failed attempt, the accused had a direct conversation with Anmol Bishnoi. It is alleged that Anmol expressed his displeasure over the failure of the mission and reprimanded the shooter for backing out at the last moment.

It has been claimed in the charge sheet that during the same conversation, a new plan was made to attack again and after about 10 days, i.e. on 1 February 2026, it was decided to carry out the crime. According to the police, Anmol Bishnoi had instructed the main accused to complete the mission for the second time at any cost.

Mumbai Crime Branch is now deeply investigating the role of other people associated with Bishnoi network and the entire criminal conspiracy.

Now Mumbai Crime Branch, while investigating the firing incident at Rohit Shetty’s house, recovered the weapon with which the firing was done at the house from the arrested accused. Using this weapon, five bullets were fired at Rohit Shetty’s house.

Sources said that the recovered weapon has been sent to Forensic Science Laboratory, Kalina. So that its ballistic test can be done and it can be scientifically proven that the weapon that has been recovered. Using the same, bullets were fired at Rohit Shetty’s house.

A team of Mumbai Crime Branch had also gone to Haryana with the main accused in the firing, where he had hidden the gun used in the firing.

These accused have been arrested so far

Let us tell you that so far 9 accused have been arrested in this case. The first 5 accused were arrested from near Pune. MCOCA has been imposed on the first 5 accused. The names of these accused are Aditya Gayaki, Siddharth Yenpure, Samarth Pomaji, Swapnil Sakat and Asaram Fasale alias Babu (arms supplier).

Talking about Rohit Shetty’s work front, he is known for comedy and action films. He has created franchises like Golmaal and Singham. His Chennai Express was also a big hit. Last time he had brought the film Singham Again. Ajay Devgan and Kareena Kapoor were in lead roles in this film. The film has stars like Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone. The film was liked very much.

Senior police sources have made new revelations in the case of firing at the house of famous Bollywood film maker Rohit Shetty and the case of threat to Ranveer Singh. According to senior sources of Mumbai Police, after the arrest of Lawrence Bishnoi and Anmol Bishnoi, the gang has become very weak. Apart from the attack on Rohit Shetty’s house, it has not been confirmed that any other big celebrity has recently received a formal threat from the Bishnoi gang.

However, questions still remain over the alleged threat received by Ranveer Singh and the authenticity of the threat message sent to him. Police believe that copycat criminals are trying to create an atmosphere of fear by using the name of Bishnoi gang, and Mumbai Police is keeping an eye on such people.

According to sources, after the arrest of Bishnoi brothers, the activities of the gang have weakened and some people are misusing their name. Names like Shubham Lonkar or Arju Bishnoi have come up, whom the police are considering as weak links. There is a fear that in some parts of the country, the names of Lawrence and Anmol Bishnoi are being used only to create fear.

Search continues for Shubham Lonkar
After the attack on Rohit Shetty’s house, the claim of responsibility was revealed through a Facebook post using the name of Shubham Lonkar and the photograph of Lawrence Bishnoi. However, the police believe that this gang is doing such activities to maintain its dominance. The search for the shooters who opened fire has been intensified. Even if the accused have destroyed their electronic devices or used equipment, the police are confident that arrests will be made soon. In this case, the search for Shubham Lonkar is also going on with the help of other agencies.

Ranveer Singh did not receive any threat from Vishnoi gang
According to police sources, investigation is going on whether any gang is involved in the threatening message received by Ranveer Singh’s manager. At present it has not been confirmed whether the voice note sent is related to Bishnoi gang. The possibility of registering a new FIR in this case is also said to be low. The police have termed the letter written by the managing committee of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s society as an internal matter and have refused to interfere in it.

Giving the example of the 90s, a senior police officer said that copycat criminals have been active in the past also by showing fear in the name of Dawood or other big gangsters. Similarly, there is a suspicion that the voice message sent to Ranveer Singh may also have been sent by a copycat criminal through means like VPN and Proton Mail. In such cases, it is challenging to prove the authenticity of the message.

The accused was deeply influenced by Shubham Lonkar, the mastermind of the Fasale Baba Siddiqui murder case and the firing case at Rohit Shetty’s house. Due to that influence, he joined Bishnoi gang 4 years ago. For four years, he was working for Bishnoi gang as a special henchman of Lonkar. Fasle used to work as a garage mechanic in a garage in Warje area. During this time, he came in contact with Lonkar and after seeing Lonkar’s influence in the area, he decided to join the Bishnoi gang.

Fasale directly knew Swapnil Sakat, one of the four accused arrested earlier in the case of firing at Rohit Shetty’s house. He was introduced to Swapnil Sakat only through Lonkar. Fasale felt that if he joined the Bishnoi gang, he would have a lot of influence in his area. Some people in his close circle were aware of Fasle’s work for the Bishnoi gang. But who are those people and whether they also work for Bishnoi gang or not. The crime branch is busy finding out this.

It was on Lonkar’s instructions that Fasale handed over weapons to Swapnil Sakat and Sakat later sent the same weapons to the unknown shooter for firing. How much money did Lonkar give to Fasal in lieu of supplying weapons? From whom has he taken the weapons? This has not been clear yet. All the five accused arrested so far in this case had joined the Bishnoi gang under the influence of Lonkar and with the intention of establishing their dominance in their area. In this case, even after 9 days the police has not been able to reach the shooter. However, he claims that many teams are trying to reach him and success is expected soon.
