Utpanna Ekadashi 2025

Ekadashi of the eleventh day of Krishna Paksha of Margashirsha month is known as Utpana Ekadashi. Lord Krishna is worshiped on this day. It is believed that by observing this fast one attains salvation after death.

According to beliefs, people observing fast on Utpanna Ekadashi should not eat food on the first night i.e. on Dashami Tithi of fasting. Apart from this, on Ekadashi, they should worship God in Brahmavela and perform aarti only.
