Indonesian-American model Manohara Odelia has made public a very painful truth related to her life after years. She has clearly stated that her relationship with Malaysian Prince Tengku Fakhri was neither consensual nor legally valid. Now 33-year-old Manohara clarified that the so-called marriage that took place in 2008 was actually a forced relationship. In the statement, Manohara said that the one year spent in the royal palace of Kelantan was the most frightening period of his life. She alleged that there she was not allowed to move freely, was under constant surveillance and even faced physical and sexual abuse. In 2009, Manohara saved his life by running away from a hotel in Singapore during a royal visit. During this time, her mother, local administration and the American Embassy helped her, after which she was able to return to Indonesia.
