<p>The special thing about jumping rope is that it burns calories faster in less time. Whereas in rope jumping workout, calories are burnt according to your weight. If a 70 kg person jumps rope for 15 minutes, he burns 161 calories. Whereas if an 80 kg person jumps rope for 15 minutes, he burns 184 calories. Which means that on an average, 350 to 400 calories can be burnt in a day by just jumping rope for 15-15 minutes and if this is done twice, about 800 to 900 calories can be burnt. </p>

<p>How many calories are burned while running also depends on weight and speed. If a person weighing 70 kg walks at a speed of 7 kilometers per hour for half an hour, he can burn 184 calories. Whereas if a 55 kg person runs for 1 minute, he burns about 11.4 calories, which means that about 350 calories are burnt by running for 30 minutes. </p>

<p>Walking is considered the easiest exercise. It neither requires a gym nor any special thing is required. Similarly, calorie burn in walking also depends on your weight, speed and fitness level. If you walk slowly for 60 minutes, you burn 200 to 250 calories. Whereas if you walk at a medium pace, you can burn 300 to 400 calories. </p>

He was seriously injured in a road accident on Monday (July 14) on the Jalandhar-Pathankot highway. He was then admitted to DMC Hospital (Dayanand Medical College and Hospital) in Jalandhar, where he died. <p style="text-align: justify;">Fauja Singh was born on 1 April 1911 in Beas Pind in Jalandhar district of Punjab. His legs were very weak in childhood. In such a situation, he could not last till the age of five. Despite this, he became the world&#8217;s oldest marathon runner. His long life secret was hidden in his positive lifestyle, balanced diet and regular exercise. </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">According to Dr. Gurpreet Singh, Senior Neurosurgeon of Jalandhar, who treated Fauja Singh, Fauja Singh&#8217;s physical and mental strength was the basis of his long life. The race, meditation and balanced diet were part of their daily routine. He was always positive to avoid mental stress. At the same time, Fauja Singh shared the secret of his fitness in an interview. He said that I am always happy. I eat Punjabi Pinni every day. After this, I drink lukewarm water. I take a glass of milk and curd in every season before sleeping in the night. Apart from this, he advised to avoid junk food and regular walks and exercise.</p>
