Dollar Vs Rupee: The decline of the Indian Rupee is showing no signs of stopping. Today i.e. on the morning of 14th May, when the currency market opened, a huge fall was seen in the rupee. Rupee has fallen by 20 paise and has now reached its lowest level. In such a situation, it has been given the status of Asia’s worst performing currency. RBI has already invested billions of dollars to stop the fall of rupee, let us tell you that if the central government had not done this then the situation could have gone from bad to worse.

In the Interbank Foreign Exchange market, the rupee slipped from 95.74 to 95.86, which means there was a direct decline of 20 paise. After reaching 95.80 a day earlier i.e. on May 13, the rupee was seen at 95.66 per dollar.

What is the reason for falling rupee?
In India, about 90 percent crude oil and 50 percent gas comes from outside. The price of crude oil has increased significantly due to the war in the Middle East. This has increased pressure on India’s macroeconomic outlook. Growth has decreased and inflation has increased. In such a situation, further pressure on the rupee may increase. If we look at the chart of this entire week, the dollar is down by 1.4 percent against the rupee in a week. At the same time, it was the lowest in the last three days.

What is the condition of the stock market?
Talking about the stock market, Sensex rose 424.44 points in early trade and came at 75033.42. At the same time, Nifty rose 141.90 points to 23554.50. The price of Brent crude has increased by 50 percent and hence the rupee has seen an increase of 5 percent against the dollar.
