India is going to take a big step towards strengthening the Air Force. Ministry of Defense Ministry will meet Russian officials this week. According to media reports, there will be talks on joint construction or direct purchase of 5 additional S-400 air defense systems from Russia to increase India’s long distance defense capabilities.

According to reports, this deal will be cleared before Vladimir Putin’s annual summit with Prime Minister Narendra Modi before coming to India on 5 December.

Government will be deal with government

According to a report by Hindustan Times, both sides have already agreed to the cost of additional 5 systems with an annual increase from the price of 2018. There are reports that 3 out of 5 systems will be purchased directly. Apart from this, the rest will be constructed under technology transfer by companies of Indian private sector.

According to the report, people aware of the case told on the condition of anonymity that this deal will be between the government from the government. In this, facilities for maintenance, repair and overhaul will be established in collaboration with the Indian private sector. He further said that the news of buying the S-500 system towards India is wrong. The reason for this is that such a system is still under consideration in Russia.

India will get 2 and S-400 systems by 2026

From Russia, 2 S-400 air defense systems, which are part of the 2018 deal, will reach India by the end of 2026. India and Russia are talking about buying 5 more air defense systems, which can protect India’s 7 thousand kilometers long coastline.

India can also buy missiles from Russia

India is also searching for the air-to-air missile and RVV-BD from Russia to make the SU-30mki fleet even more powerful. The reason for this is that Pakistan is also using a PL 15 air -to -air missile with 200 km of China -made 200 km.

S-400 air defense system: National Security Advisor Ajit Doval is likely to visit Russia next week. He will talk to the government about the delivery of air defense system S400 there. 2 air defense system is yet to be delivered.

According to The Economic Times report, during Ajit Doval’s visit to Moscow, India will also order a new air defense system and there is a possibility of negotiating many issues with the Russian government. Before Ajit Doval’s visit, Indian MPs will start Moscow’s visit from Thursday, under which MP will inform the Russian government about Pakistan’s attitude to support terrorism.

PIB has checked the fact of at least eight such viral videos and posts from 10 am on May 8 to 6:30 in the morning of 9 May. In such a viral video, a 2020 Berut explosion is in which some users have described it as an aerial attack of Pakistan. The confused attack has been added to the Army Brigade of Rajouri with this confused video.

It is worth noting that after the terrorist attack on 22 April in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, India took retaliation and raided Pakistan and its 9 Terror locations on May 7 and was completely demolished. Since then, tension between the two countries has increased considerably.
