Soni Razdan was born on October 25, 1956 in Birmingham (England). His father was a Kashmiri Pandit and mother was British-German. Soni adopted the culture of both, but at the time of her marriage with Mahesh Bhatt, she accepted Islam, because Mahesh Bhatt was already married.

Early Bollywood career and hit films

Soni was already interested in acting. He honed his acting skills in English theater and worked in the English film John Fowles’ The Collector. This film, which came in the 70s, did not achieve much success. Soni worked in the Hollywood Bengali film ’36 Chowringhee Lane’ released in 1981. In this film, the sorrows and pain of the Anglo-Indian people have been shown seriously on screen. Liked the film a lot. In the same year, she played the role of Deepa in her first Bollywood film ‘Ahista-Ahista’.

Soni Razdan introduced the nuances of her acting in Mandi in 1983, Saransh in 1984, Trikaal in 1985 and the film Khamosh released in 1986. She appeared in the Hindi TV serial ‘Buniyaad’ in 1986. He said that his film has become good. In the first time, she could not reach more audiences, so now she is releasing it again. The film will be shown in the theater on 26 September.
